Dr. Paul Gardiner is an Associate Professor in the field of project management and Head of Project Management PhD and MSc Programmer at BUiD. Dr. Gardiner studied Engineering for his first degree at Imperial College, UK and then worked in applied research Schlumberger, Cambridge. Subsequently, he studied and completed his PhD in project management which was awarded by the University of Durham, UK. He is a member of the IPMA, APM and PMI. He is also held external examiner ships for the University of Bradford and the University of Ulster. Dr. Gardiner has written over 70 journal articles and conference papers, and publishes on project management in a number of top quality journals.
